I’m a little persuasive, it’s true.  Becky brought her two adorable kids in for a shoot, and she was completely not thinking she would be in a photograph.  After seeing Mom and kids belly-laughing together in the same exact way, I just HAD to document them all…

…only to realize what an incredible family had walked into our studio.  Becky, currently featured in People Magazine this week, immediately told us her story about being maxed out finacially and mentally while trying to get pregnant.  She perservered through the invitro-based miscarriages and started her family the modern way.  Adoption.  And then started a foundation, http://www.helpusadopt.org to help couples start their own families.

….such a good “happily ever after”.

To take a bunch of lemons and make it into a donation lemonade-stand is JUST the type of woman we admire.  We will be at her 2nd annual Family Fun Day at the Movies here in NYC on November 19th.  Come meet me and my team in person and have your child’s picture taken while supporting her very neccessary cause.

She’ll be showing the family feel good movie Happy Feet…….A movie about being who you truly are….I’m so happy to know this woman who really is exactly herself.

BEFORE and AFTER

Meet this soon-to-be big sister. She was so adorable, we had to keep her as our headline banner for a while! A Shirley Temple in-the-making. We asked her, while taking pictures of Mommy’s belly, “Are you ready to be a big sister?”  She just went over to Mom and gave the belly a HUGE hug.

You never can tell what will happen when an “only child” becomes a “big sister.”  In this case…she was ready for the job.

Bringing a new baby into the family is SO EXCITING and it was great to see this big sister jump into her new role with two feet!

It’s families like these who impress me the most.  Even though they’ve had their first kid and done all the first rounds of photos…they are intent on keeping everything equal. Every child in their family will have beautiful BEFORE pictures…

…and of course, AFTER pictures…What else can we say? CONGRATULATIONS to the very happy family.  And thank you for a wonderful experience in our studio.  We wish that your daughter could give lessons to “big siblings” everywhere.
